Fire walls and studio apartments ? I have had the run around with Landlord.
With asking a simpel safty qustion- whay were the fire extingesers olny fulled when the houe had its first year inspection.
What are the rules! can you please help.
I have been told by city councel way is this law if its commerce olny The has to be a fire wall if it was in the building coad at the time.
But you can olny get that with infomation with the Nelson nz fire brgrade.When was the fire coad of inspection put in place

Oh God All I wanted was A fire wall or know my rights! And not to full the extingshures up every year.
There was bad wiring in the apartment the fire alarm wire was still in the walls and hooked in to the main power for the lights this was the wrong gadge wire to youse.Thigs have been in place for that first year in -spec ton .But removed after just becoues peopel felt safe insuancess..
